Martha Frances Evers The wife of James Taylor Evers, who operated several businesses at Shiloh, the little village just north of present day Plant City. He moved his operations to Plant City when H.B. Plant's Railroad came through in 1884.
Mr. Evers married Frances (Rucker) Spier, a widow from Forsythe, Georgia, who was the mother of five children by her former husband. She and Mr. Evers themselves were the parent's of six children, including Rowena Lee Mays and Minnie Evers Waver.
